for instrumental ensemble
This work is an instrumental version of 'OLEK SCHOOT EEN BEER...' that was commissioned by 'Jeugd en Muziek Vlaanderen' in 2005-2006. Bart Moeyaert (author and Antwerp city poet 2006-2007) wrote the text.
My choice of the instruments was inspired by the work 'L'histoire du soldat' of Stravinsky: clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, violin, double bass and percussion.
In this work, written especially for young people, I tried to write music that stirs up imagination, without making concessions regarding the musical language.
