This work for mixed choir (4 voices) was composed in 1992.

It is the second motet on Latin text that the composer wrote. This work is based on Psalm 130.

In contrast to the first motet ‘Libera Me’ Wim Henderickx chose for the English translation ‘Out of the depths I have cried to you, Oh Lord’.

It is written in a free, atonal musical language.
This work is a musical expression of this biblical text, taking into account a maximum intelligibility of the text.
