COLORS (2014) is a part of the vast work ANTIFOON (A Resonating Bridge), which was composed in 2014 in commission of the 'Unie Hasselt-Genk', 'Z33' and 'Musica'.

An important aspect in this work is the use of improvisation.
The score is not entirely composed in detail, but delivers harmonic material, with which the singers can get started.
The rhythmic indication is similarly not exact, but is determined by the different energy values. These energies represent the time values of the rhythms.

The text has no meaning, but the singers can freely use vowels, as indicated in the score. The electronics display the harmonic fields and thus also serve as a support for the intonation of the singers.

There are several ways to utilize a space; maximum use of the venue to strengthen the sound experience, is a very important aspect in this piece.

COLORS has 6 parts: Blue (infinite), Green (hope), Red (love), Orange (warmth), Yellow (light) and White (complete).
